Playgroup Session
Arrival
10 minutes of free
time to do whatever activity the child wants
Circle
time
Each child is
welcomed individually and calendar activities, which
give the child sense of order and routine are conducted
during the session. Circle time is approximately 15
minutes depending on the concentration of the children.
1 Hour
Activity time
A free work period
time incorporating inside and outside time with staff
working with individual children and parents. Children
eat snack at a designated table when they are hungry.
Circle
time
Approximately 10
minutes - children are generally quite tired at this
stage so we try to keep this circle time light hearted
with instruments and singing and dancing, story time and
formal goodbyes.
